The Role: 

As a member of Newsela’s Sales Learning and Enablement team, your mission is to advance our Customer organization’s ability to bring value to our customers at every interaction point. By equipping our customer-facing reps with knowledge, information, learning, and insights, you’ll help drive help our team evangelize the impact Newsela can have on teaching and learning in K-12 classrooms and ultimately drive revenue growth. You’ll work with our regional sales and marketing teams to develop and execute everything from onboarding to kick off events, building great content, streamlining communications, and providing insights that help drive growth for the business. You’ll also be deeply entrenched in our sales learning and enablement content, and will own and govern all resources and materials related to the Customer organization.

You’ll get to play a part in expanding that investment as we grow to support our customer success team as well as our sales team. You’ll get to hone your communications to build sales collateral and playbooks that drive substantial growth in our customer base, and see how that growth directly enhances K-12 education in schools across the U.S. 

Why We’ll Love You: 

You have 3+ years of experience in a Learning & Development or Sales Training role, where you designed and delivered adult learning programs, both inside and outside of traditional classroom environments. You’re an expert communicator, able to leverage your business acumen and familiarity with marketing principles to be a strategic partner to stakeholders across the company, making a measurable impact on team performance. You’ve demonstrated your ability to establish and document processes, as well as make improvements on existing processes to drive operational or productivity improvements in a sales environment, ideally in the SaaS/tech industry. You continuously set the bar higher by building hyper-customized, relevant, and scalable enablement programs. You are a fanatically organized problem-solver who will approach challenges with enthusiasm and tact.
