Senior Program Workplace Manager
THE ROLE
As we scale quickly, the Workplace Operations team is seeking a strong leader to oversee Workplace Program Management in our New York HQ offices. The Senior Workplace Program Manager will be responsible for all occupancy and space planning, the food & beverage program, sustainability efforts, contract management, team budgeting, and workplace team SOPs and processes. Reporting to the Director, Workplace Operations, this role will bring a proactive, strategic approach to the workplace team programs and processes as we rapidly scale across multiple locations in NYC.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and define existing organizational workplace requirements including forecasting growth, space utilization, business unit adjacency needs, seat counts and individual employee requirements
- Partner with the real estate and people teams on workforce planning across all HQ offices
- Define workplace and space planning strategies in line with state and local guidelines amid an evolving pandemic that provides the highest standards of safety and security
- Manage office moves by partnering with internal leaders to allocate space and coordinating move logistics
- Drive and report on workplace team sustainability efforts associated with our offices and services
- Oversee the NYC HQ food and beverage program including daily catering, events catering and set up, pantry snack program and onsite coffee shop
- Partner with internal communications, creative and people teams to drive content displayed through NYC HQ
- Drive workplace contract reviews and partner with workplace team leaders to manage the team budget
- Write, review and support the documentation of team SOPs and report on workplace ticketing SLAs
- Create and present high-level, high-visibility projects to the leadership team
- Stay up to date on workplace trends and best practices across the industry
- Manage a small team focused on programs and community engagement in the workplace
- Some travel required as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree or equivalent education or experience in architecture, space planning and design standards
- 5+ years of experience in workplace strategy and space planning
- Working knowledge of ADA & DOB requirements
- Experience with space planning tools
- Ability to read and interpret floor plans and associated construction documents
- Proven ability to collaborate across many teams and leaders to lead large scale, fast-paced initiatives by building trust, problem solving and driving towards solutions
- Superb interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex tasks and to prioritize competing initiatives
- Experience working with creative and/or technology populations
- Strong project management and budgeting skills
