Your Mission
The Senior Project Manager will be a key member of the Global People Operations Team (SSO Shared Services Operations), partnering with the VP, Global People Operations to organize the HCM function in a newly developed SSO.

 

What you will do:
You will manage end to end delivery of a mid-size project that reaches across multiple functional groups. Project has major influence on the quality and functionality of employee annual enrollment functions and requires cross-vendor coordination, communication, influence and negotiation. The change manager is a key project contributor owning key deliverables, facilitating meetings and updating project documentation throughout the project life cycle. The project manager is responsible for analyzing information, driving process/project documentation through the review cycles while incorporating stakeholder feedback, developing and operationalizing project routines and providing overall change support that is required for a successful implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling HR projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion
  • Responsible for coordinating completion of project deliverables, identifying risks and issues, developing mitigation plans and solutions, as well as supporting the implementation of changes and solutions for corporate change initiatives that impact multiple functions and processes
  • Analyzes present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation
  • Drive change management deliverables and project documentation (issue/risk logs, status reports, requirements documentation, design documentation, test plans, etc.)
  • Maintain MS project and excel based project plans or equivalent 
  • Develop and maintain timeline documents / diagrams
  • Will work closely with and assist the Global Head of People Operations, key stakeholders and HR COEs, as well as technology and vendor resources
  • Coordinates and facilitates/participates in weekly workgroup meetings, as well as ad hoc project meetings; document and distribute agendas and minutes
  • Remains actively involved in the execution of project activities and assist with other project and program routines as determined throughout the project lifecycle
  • Creates and manage the overall project plan in order to keep team informed regarding potential challenges with critical path deliverables
  • Extract data from multiple sources and systems and distill into a digestible format, including dashboards, with actionable insights
  • Synthesize requirements from non-technical stakeholders in day-to-day communications as well as in presentations
  • Facilitate the deployment of workforce analytics methodologies used to drive key business decisions
  • Assists with the development and revision of project documents, status updates, communications, testing and implementation efforts
  • Effectively communicates with managers, peers and business 

partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed. Partner with the business to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change


What you need:

  • 7 or more years of project management support experience
  • Experience working on large scale, complex testing efforts, implementations with multiple deployments, and data conversions required
  • Enterprise change policy & standards experience
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to facilitate meetings, capture key outcomes / actions and own project / process documentation
  • Exceptional analytical skills with ability to comprehend, document, evaluate and improve complex business processes
  • Ability to manage a project or phases of a project in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Relationship Management - Ability to build relationships and interact with Technology, Change Management, Business and external (3rd party) partners
  • Deep knowledge of the project delivery lifecycle
  • Effectively deals with ambiguity and adapts to changing circumstances
  • Ability to work with diverse team members in virtual environment
  • Ability to work with and across multiple levels of the organization, prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Proficiencies in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Tableau) or Google suite required

Desired Skills

  • Human Resources product and process knowledge and experience
  • Project management certification (e.g. PMI, Six Sigma, PMP) or equivalent experience
  • Experience in implementing HR systems and processes HCM, payroll, talent management, learning systems etc.)
  • M&A project experience desired
  • Graduate Degree desired
  • Proficiencies in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) or Google suite required
