Turbonomic has a great opportunity for an Senior Agile Scrum Master/ Project Manager. You will be a champion of Agile and Scrum methodology to ensure it is understood and enacted as the Senior Scrum Master for two or more Scrum teams. The successful candidate embodies the values of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, continual improvement, empowerment, and transparency. With the willingness to go above and beyond to chase down dependencies, roadblocks, loose ends and facilitate projects on time, with expected feature sets.

Responsibilities and Skills:

• Serves as a servant leader scrum master for two or more scrum teams
• Guides the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices & values
• Advises, documents and promotes process standards
• Identifies and steers the team to remove impediments and resolve issues
• Ability to engage and motivate team to work towards a shared purpose in the best interests of the organization
• Protects teams from both internal and external distractions, improves transparency, and radiates information
• Strong understanding of agile Scrum practices (e.g., sprints, estimation, prioritization, burndown tracking, release planning/scoping, standups, demos and retrospectives)
• Ability to track and manage agreed scope and changes to scope
• Ability to work closely with delivery teams to establish expectations and ensure tasks remain on track
• Ability to produce and speak to metrics in support of feature, team and release status and trends

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent and relevant work experience
• Excellent knowledge of Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
• 5-7 years working within an agile or scrum methodology environment in software development team focused on product delivery.
• Experience working in a fast paced, start-up environment with proven record of successful software delivery cycles
• Expert skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
• Demonstrated leadership in guiding others in the fundamentals of iterative development, software development procedures, & software release processes for enterprise software
• Must possess strong analytical and communication skills, a risk mitigation mindset and exhibit appropriate levels of urgency
• Complete understanding of SDLC and CI/CD
