About Us

NS1 optimizes delivery of the world’s most critical internet and enterprise applications. Only NS1’s platform is built on a modern API-first architecture that acts on real-time data and grows more powerful in complex environments, transforming DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM) into an intelligent, efficient, and automated system. NS1’s technology drives dramatic gains in IT efficiency and application performance, reliability, and security for the largest global enterprises, including Salesforce, LinkedIn, Dropbox, Nielsen, Pitney Bowes, Squarespace, Pandora and The Guardian. We solve incredibly challenging problems on behalf of our customers, in the most mission critical parts of their stack.

The Role

The Sr Technical Program Manager (Sr TPM) will join the Engineering organization to drive process and project management practices across our software development teams. SrTPM’s will focus on executing product strategy for Software as a Service (SaaS) and on-premise software products, enabling engineering teams to deliver on customer commitments, encouraging a culture of predictability via detailed project planning and issue and risk mitigation.

The SrTPM will ensure seamless coordination of stakeholders around project variables, generating a shared understanding of deliverables and timelines. As NS1 grows, the SrTPM will ensure the team’s methodology evolves to get work done effectively, and will grow a program management practice in tandem.

You thrive when given the opportunity to implement program/project management rigor and are adept at breaking down complex problems into steps that drive product development and engineering. You bring an intrinsic flexibility to find out what fits best in each scenario. The ideal candidate will be pragmatic, highly proactive with a strong sense of urgency and superb follow-through.

You will:

  • Understand product use case and communicate technically with engineering teams

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with sufficient level of technical capability to effectively communicate with engineers on product scope and technical risks
  • Experience managing delivery of larger development teams or multiple development teams
  • Demonstrated comfort with remote communication culture. Can facilitate effectively with distributed teams
  • Meticulously organized, with strong attention to detail and understanding of intricate cross-dependencies
  • Works well with ambiguity and is naturally inclined to drive clarity
