Job Title: Senior Technical Project Manager

 

Location: New York, NY

 

Job Duties:

 

ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Technical Project Manager at our New York, New York location. Responsibilities: Participate in the software development process using Agile and Scrum software development methodologies and organizing SCRUM ceremonies. Work with product teams to build software product roadmaps and plan quarterly development and releases. Build project plans, determine scope and schedule, identify risks and issues, and publish status reports. Carry out software release planning and scheduling by providing empirical SCRUM team statistics, identifying project dependencies, and mitigating risks. Participate in software development tasks, identify and resolve issues, and communicate with stakeholders. Collaborate across various cross functional teams, including Engineering, Product, User Experience, Reliability and Security to ensure everyone is aligned to project and program goals.

 

Education & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field plus eight (8) years of related experience. Employer will accept a master's degree plus six (6) years of experience in lieu of bachelor's degree plus eight (8) years of experience.

Work Experience:

Three (3) years of experience must include: Agile software methodology, including Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe); Project plan and management tools, including SmartSheet or MicroSoft Project Plan; JIRA; Confluence; Waterfall; Jira Query Language (JQL) or SQL; Release management; Software development best practices, including BDD, TDD, and pair programming; Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); and GSuite or MicroSoft Office Suite.
