Special Projects Manager (Client Implementations)

Cedar is seeking a Special Projects Manager to accelerate Cedar’s implementations. The Client Implementations team’s goal is to warmly welcome clients to Cedar and to do so in a way that improves client satisfaction while reducing time that clients spend in implementations. With the remit of making Cedar’s implementations easier for clients and Cedar, this role is passionate about building out team analytics and deepening team investments in learning and efficiency gains. Implementations play a strategic part in the client lifecycle at Cedar, which reflects a conversion from contracted ARR to actualized ARR as well as a transition from a prospect to live client. This role will partner with the VP, Head of Client Implementations to accelerate Cedar’s implementation strategy across all product lines.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with and serve as a thought partner to the VP, Head of Client Implementations by driving data-backed strategies to accelerate our implementations across all product lines, making them easier for both clients and Cedar
- Drive Cedar’s implementation data efforts which includes investment in our implementation dashboards, data quality, and KPIs, as well as reporting implementation updates to our senior leadership and board
- Lead strategic initiatives to accelerate Cedar’s implementation capabilities, informed through collaboration with the implementation team members and cross-functional Cedarians to understand closely Cedar’s and clients’ pain points related to implementation
- Drive team development and growth, including supporting quarterly team OKR development and analysis to inform staffing and areas for improvement
- Contribute to a culture that adheres to Cedar’s values of focusing on our vision, using good judgement, applying a growth mindset, and rejecting mediocrity
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in management consulting OR a role that provided healthcare or technology implementation experience
- Proven strong analytical skills and an insatiable desire to lead with data-backed decisions, which are supported by proficiency in tooling which may include, for example, Excel, Looker, Tableau, Salesforce, Smartsheets
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
- Intellectual curiosity, ability to build structure from ambiguity (creative problem solving and strong analytical skills) and a sense of ownership
- Deadline-driven, organized and able to prioritize effectively and sees things through
- Creative thinker that is never satisfied with the status quo - and is passionate about the opportunity to improve and innovate
- Ability to build credibility quickly
