  • Lead the conversation around the latest technology advancements and best practices in the developer community
  • Support CockroachDB product and engineering efforts by sharing what you learn while engaging with the wider database community and tech communities at large
  • Contribute to the development of demos and sandbox environments leveraging CockroachDB and CockroachCloud in order to educate developers and inform technical content
The Expectations

For your next 30 days, you will focus on communities largely consisting of application developers, full-stack software engineers, and the “language” communities (JavaScript and TypeScript). You will execute on strategies to engage deeper within these areas.

After 90 days, you will be fully integrated onto the team. This includes writing CPFs, speaking at events, mentoring hackathons, and engaging on forums and at conferences with architects and application developers in our user community to understand and tell the full-stack story.

You Have
  • Application development experience, and basic knowledge of Java, Python or a similar language
  • 10+ years total experience in a technical field with 3+ years of technical evangelism, developer relations, or community building experience within a technical space

  • A collaborative spirit and an ability to problem-solve
  • Excellent writing and project management skills
