Narmi's Co-Founders previously ran a financial institution as CEO and CTO so understand the challenges and needs of the market first-hand. This gives us a unique competitive advantage and heavily influences our product and engineering efforts.
Narmi is looking for a technical project manager to see projects for existing customers through completion. This will involve helping understand business requirements, writing Change Orders / SOWs, bridging the gap between engineering and customer success, and ultimately, seeing the project through its full lifecycle to successful deployment. Our customers are constantly adding new modules, requesting new features, QA'ing new issues. You will be assigned to help project manage these tasks. While you are not expected to write code you will have a strong understanding of our code is written, tested and deployed. You will be familiar with a fast growing SaaS company's SDLC and tools like github should be natural to you. Lastly, understanding a product and its nuances excites you and you can apply this product knowledge appropriately to projects you manage.
Responsibilities
- Manage key projects across the organization with an emphasis on on time delivery, product / technical expertise and attention to detail
- Write and maintain appropriate project or product documentation as necessary (examples include configuration guides, training manuals and help documentation)
- Help groom and organize tasks in github in preparation for upcoming sprints. This includes clarifying task requirements, adding videos or screenshots, coordinating with stakeholders at customers or partners, etc.
- Remaining current on new developments in the Narmi platform and proactively identifying project or documentation needs
- Hold regular team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
- Define communication plan for projects, routinely provide updates to senior leadership and hold stakeholders accountable across cross-functional teams
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a customer-facing professional services, customer success, or project management role in a technical or heavy product oriented capacity
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously, without losing sight of key goals. Ability to drive teams/decisions through ambiguity
- Proactive, thorough, and transparent in communication
- Ability to influence and motivate project teams across engineering, implementation, customer success and product to meet deliverables and ensure customer satisfaction with project end state
- Strong technical, analytical, and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to drive decisions.
- Familiarity and ability to drive projects to completion using tools like github, wrike and slack
