ADP Research Institute is hiring a Technical Project Manager.
The ADPRI Technical Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of project health, including scope, budget management, change control, and timeline. The successful candidate will be an adept communicator and highly effective as a leader, problem solver, planner, doer, and delegator. We are also seeking candidates who have experience managing technical development projects, from websites to apps and anything in-between.
This role is focused on client-facing projects with high engagement from internal key stakeholders and technical teams. This role's responsibilities include managing implementation, integration, and content build project through defining and executing project plans, assisting in the assignment of appropriate resources, ensuring adherence to project scope, taking actions to ensure deadlines can be met if/when project conditions change, and communicating project status to key stakeholders and clients.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work in a fast-paced, digitally-focused environment alongside developers, designers, and researchers to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Develop, promote, and maintain standards and tools for portfolio and project management, with the goal of delivering every project on time, within budget, and within the scope
  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for team members required for specific projects or initiatives
  • Facilitate communication with leadership and other key strategy stakeholders, including regular reports and strategy progress meetings
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders during the project lifecycle to manage project health/scope, facilitate feedback, discuss project status and deliver reporting, as needed
  • Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
  • Plan for contingencies, surface risk and raise red flags when needed.
  • Setup project systems for stakeholders and teams to enable project workflow, time tracking, and document repositories


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technically-focused project management experience
  • Understanding of digital project management and website design/development terminology
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrable ability to mitigate risk and lead successful projects
  • Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
  • Ability to develop strong, engaging relationships that foster partnership and growth.
  • Experience with project management software
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for other


Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions.

In California the compensation range for this role is $74,000 - $198,360.
