Technical Project Manager

| Greater NYC Area

Bread makes essential purchases affordable to regular people. We transform pricing in e-commerce: The $1,000 couch you’re looking at might become a $50/month charge. Clear, transparent terms with fair rates. No impact on your credit score to sign up. Add a powerful, flexible merchant API that can seamlessly integrate financing anywhere in the e-commerce experience, and you’ve got Bread.

The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for designing and executing a best-in-class onboarding program to integrate Bread’s merchants well and efficiently. You will work with external and internal stakeholders to deliver an excellent technical integration and onboarding experience for Bread merchants.

Things you’ll do:

  • Merchant onboarding
    • Design efficient processes to shepherd merchants through our onboarding process
    • Ensure merchants are hitting key milestones along their onboarding journey
    • Identify common issues and pitfalls that merchants face and work with the integrations and success teams to address these challenges
    • Work with the integrations team to assure that merchant challenges are solved in an efficient manner
  • Integration Development
    • Manage our third-party agencies that are developing and upgrading our eCommerce platform plug-ins/apps/extensions
    • Ensure that these agencies have a full pipeline of work
    • Test/QA output from these agencies
    • Work with account managers to ensure merchants have the latest plugins installed at reasonable intervals

You have:

  • A passion for implementation at B2B SaaS companies, or a strong understanding of e-comm marketing KPIs and platforms
  • Strong technical skills, and you’re excited to dive into API documentation -- you like the challenge of figuring it all out
  • You enjoy working on both program and relationship management, and you’ve been told you excel at each
  • You thrive in environments that demand adaptability and thinking fast on your feet
  • In addition to being technical, you have the ability to connect with people. Folks tell you you’re a good listener, and you make everyone in the conversation feel included
