Description

What's the role?

We are seeking an experienced Regional US Sales Leader to join our team. This role will focus on leading an expanding sales team in the Americas region, driving new business acquisition, and supporting growth of existing accounts. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer in the UK, you will be the key owner and driver of our private sector revenue efforts in the Americas region.

Your team will be responsible for hitting Elliptic's growth targets, and you'll play a big part in defining our strategic goals, resource allocation, product development, and growth ambitions. You'll have a strong background in SaaS enterprise sales, and be excited to take us through our next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 2-5 sales executives in the Americas region
  • Recruit, develop and motivate our sales team, championing a culture based on success
  • Be responsible for setting the regional sales strategy
  • Have a key voice in developing and executing global sales and company strategyAccurately forecast team sales targets
  • Develop strategies for new business development and existing customer growth
  • Represent our company in high-level meetings with C-Level executives
  • Develop referral and reseller partnerships in the region
  • Work alongside your team to close significant deals and grow existing accounts
  • Develop custom proposals in collaboration with the strategy team
  • Conduct in-person presentations and product demos
  • Negotiate terms and close business deals

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

You'll be a great fit if you have:

  • 7+ years of full sales cycle experience selling Enterprise SaaS solutions
  • 3+ years of experience managing sales teams executing business with $50-500K ACV's
  • Proven track record of success and quota over-achievement - top 10% performer at your last company
  • Strong outbound prospecting skills, with a track record of generating net new business and coaching team members in techniques to do the same
  • Ability to manage business strategy and pipeline with both high velocity short sales cycle mid-market business as well as complex long sales cycle high dollar enterprise business
  • Strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial mindset. You're comfortable creating value in a low structure environment while being agile and resilient
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
  • Intimate understanding of B2B SaaS sales, either in the software or traditional business environments

Bonus points for:

  • An understanding of AML/KYC and Forensics space, either in cryptocurrency or traditional financial environments.
  • A curiosity for emerging technology; you're able to demonstrate a strong affinity for maintaining your knowledge on the tech space.
