The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Sales Development Representative to join the Content as a Service (CaaS) team. This team builds and grows strategic relationships with high-value technology companies, enabling access to Shutterstock content directly within external applications. Through the Shutterstock API, we power integrations with companies such as Facebook, Google, Microsoft, and Pinterest.

As a Sales Development Representative, you will qualify partners interested in Shutterstock, find and reach out to companies that could use Shutterstock, and create/support sales opportunities. This is an entry-level position with lots of advancement potential based on performance.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Prospect up to 100 leads weekly through phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Reply to and follow up with inbound inquiries in timely manner
  • Schedule 4-6 meetings per week
  • Manage outreach campaigns and leverage performance data to optimize prospecting efforts
  • Understand the challenges our clients face
  • Communicate basic value of our product to new prospects to open up more in depth conversations
  • Champion the partner program internally and externally

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Previous successful sales experience OR a strong desire to begin a sales career in tech
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated interest in technology and business development
  • Driven, highly organized, team player
  • Likes to win and takes ownership of their own success
  • Hunter with ability to foster relationships with key decision makers
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience analyzing program trends and recommending impactful improvements
  • Clear understanding on how to communicate processes, connect dots, and optimize workflow
  • Direct experience managing product integrations, strategic partnerships, or workflow solutions a plus
  • Knowledge of trends and leading companies in digital content creation a plus
