About incident.io

incident.io is an incident management platform that helps companies when things go wrong. Whether they're site outages, data breaches, or functionality issues, incidents happen literally all the time. When they do, we help get the right people in the room, we run and communicate how you're responding, and we give you a suite of tools and insights to learn and improve over time.

The Team

We are assembling a fantastic Sales team in New York and London. Our early sales team is made up of people who have spent time at companies such as Segment, Square, Lattice and GoCardless. Find out more about the existing team members via our Talent blog.

The team is responsible for passionately bringing market awareness to our powerful platform and founding our processes to turn prospects into loving customers.

This team works directly with sales leadership helping in a high impact role to accelerate our path to tens of millions in annual revenue.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Joining a VC-backed start-up, building a new category, with a proven product-market fit that has not yet been capitalized upon.
  • Helping to define our go-to market strategy and be given the autonomy to be innovative in your approach.
  • Gaining experience in going upmarket and selling to renowned companies.
  • Growing and developing rapidly as we scale our customer base, with a clear path to move towards an Account Executive position.
  • Partnering with colleagues where sales isn’t an afterthought, it is front and centre of how we’re building the business.

This role could be ideal for you if you:

  • Have proven experience working as a Sales Development Representative in a B2B SaaS environment and a record of top performance amongst your team.
  • Have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, with proven experience using CRMs to manage your sales pipeline.
  • Enjoy being creative with your outreach and understand how to approach multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Are product-centric and will seek to deeply understand what we’re building and why our customers love it; nurturing relationships, networking and creating rapport.
  • Are passionate about selling a bold product vision and want to become the voice of the customer within our company.
  • Thrive in a start up environment where things can be ambiguous and you need to operate with autonomy.

The salary for this position is determined by several job-related factors, such as experience, relevant skills, training, location, business needs, or market demands. The salary range for this role is $65,000- $80,000. The position also offers equity options and commission.
