Account Director, Placed
Placed is the market leader in location-driven insights and ad intelligence. We're a fast-growing organization headquartered in downtown Seattle, focusing on connecting the physical and digital worlds to give brands, agencies, publishers, and ad networks the ability to target location at scale, measure the offline impact of ads, and deliver actionable insights into consumer behavior.
We’re looking for an Account Director, Publishers to join Placed, a subsidiary of Snap, Inc! Working from our New York office the ideal candidate will be in a leadership role, developing strong client relationships and laying the groundwork for scalable, long-term business operations. As a senior member of the Client Engagement team, the Account Director will have the opportunity to mentor and manage other team members. This is a chance for the right individual to have a significant impact on the future of Placed products and processes.
What you’ll do:
- Grow an existing book of business, identifying opportunities to drive adoption and upsell additional services, as appropriate
- Be the expert in Placed methodology, reports and technology for strategic clients and partners
- Present QBRs, lead client trainings and shepherd technical integrations to drive client stickiness.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to scope and prioritize new feature requests
- Lead both the strategic vision and day-to-day workflow including, communication with partners and creating scalable client processes, acting as a senior point-of-contact throughout the customer lifecycle
- Coach, mentor, and train team
- Work with VP of Client Engagement to define processes improvements to scale the business efficiently
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in campaign, account or project management for a digital marketing or ad tech company with increasing degrees of responsibility
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience driving product innovation and process improvements based on market needs and client feedback
- Proven ability to develop relationships and consult with senior level executives to grow business
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to understand and communicate technical concepts in a simple way
- Experience managing people and a track record of leadership, coaching and mentoring abilities
- Comfortable wearing many hats and working in a dynamic, quickly changing environment
- Experience working with top tier advertisers, ad agencies, publishers and/or ad networks
- Strong analytics and Excel skills
- Highly organized, used to managing multiple projects to tight deadlines with great attention to detail
