At Actuate, we make the world safer by turning any camera into a smart camera.

We help organizations manage the transition from traditional burglar alarms and human guards to smart AI-powered security.

Our software-only AI analyzes data from existing security cameras in real-time to detect threats such as weapons, intruders, crowds, and where people travel in any environment. The system acts as an end-to-end security camera management system that enables onboarding and management of cameras as well as instant alerts and analytics that allow organizations to pinpoint problems without collecting any personally identifiable information.

This is not a typical Account Executive role focused on delivering pitches to SDR-qualified leads. We're looking for a Sales and/or Business Development Manager who can find their own customer prospects, advise them on the impact of AI on their operations, walk them through the technical integration process, and nurture them to close.

We're building a team of top performers who can become trusted advisors to our customers. We’re not looking for people who can deliver a sales pitch--we’re looking for people who can excel under pressure and build customer relationships in a new market segment

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of B2B sales, business development, or management consulting experience working with large enterprise clients
  • Bachelor's degree

Experience with the following is a plus:

  • Selling IT or Technology products to SMB and/or Enterprise customers
  • Long-term consultative sales processes

We're located just off Herald Square, close to Koreatown and a <5 min walk from any transit hub you could need including the MTA, LIRR, PATH, and NJT.
