We are looking to add a dynamic, brilliant, and kind Account Executive to our growing sales team. To be successful in this role you must be a team player that has the ability to wear multiple hats by working closely with with the sales, research and product team.

As an Account Executive, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a startup environment while gaining valuable business experience. You will be part of a developing sales team who will directly impact the growth of our company. We are looking for people that embrace aggressive goals, challenges, and new opportunities.

What You Will Do

  • Field inbound phone calls and web forms from prospective merchants interested in using Alibaba.com to grow their business
  • Identify opportunities to upsell current merchants on our suite of value added services (shipping, loans and inspection services)
  • Utilize our CRM, marketing automation and sales acceleration tools to manage your pipeline and maintain accurate information about prospects and target accounts
  • Prepare customized quotes for merchants
  • Provide constructive feedback to our product and research team to improve the platform longterm for our customers 

What You Need

  • 2+ years of phone sales experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Passion for helping SMEs grow their businesses
  • Drive to succeed on a high level and crush goals month over month
  • A positive, can-do attitude; you come into work ready to exceed expectations and conquer the day
  • A willingness to learn and constantly improve. You are not satisfied with 100% and are always looking for ways to meet the next challenge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
