We’re expanding our Account Executive team to accommodate the tremendous demand for our services. Should you join Shapeways in the is the role, you’ll be a pioneer in building our future sales organization and forming relationships with business owners who are looking to us to help scale their businesses.

You’ll do well in our sales organization if you have a deep passion for working in customer-facing roles, thrive in ambiguous environments, and are adaptable to new processes and goals.

REQUIREMENTS

As an Account Executive you will:

• Consult with businesses and other product creators by responding to inbound inquiries; both from lead forms and phone calls
• Educate business owners about Shapeways; consulting with them about their projects, discussing the various materials and finishes available to them, and ultimately secure their order
• Follow up with customers to ensure their return to Shapeways for future sales

You might be a good fit if you have/are:

• B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent experience
• Experience hitting or exceeding targets in a customer service or sales environment
• Coachable and hungry for feedback and continuous self-improvement.
• You don’t take rejection personally and are results focused with a competitive spirit
• An excellent communicator and are effective at adjusting your message and communication style to individual customer needs
• Comfortable speaking on the phone and interacting with customers the better part of the day
• Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM’s a plus
