ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an SMB Account Manager to join our team to help scale and support our rapidly growing customer base. As an Account Manager at VTS, you will be responsible for managing retention and ensuring client success. SMB clients consist of small and mid-sized commercial real estate owners, investment managers and developers with commercial portfolios less than 4M square feet. The role will involve taking a data driven approach to account health and building relationships strategically across your customer base. You will help clients transform how they manage their portfolio with VTS and how they can optimize their return on investment. You are a self-starter, driven, analytical, and committed to the success of your clients.
What You'll Do
- Build relationships with client executive teams
- Help refine our SMB account management playbook as we continue to grow revenue driven from SMB clients
- Take a data driven approach to adoption, account usage and health to maximize retention and growth
- Partner with the sales team on expansion and upsell opportunities
- Act as the voice of the customer internally to draw on genuine customer insights, contribute to product developments, and provide a customer centric experience to our clients
About You
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years work experience in a customer facing role (e.g., Account Management, Customer Success / User Engagement, Consulting)
- SaaS and/or Commercial Real Estate experience is a plus
- Highly customer focused, the ability to empathize with customers and a desire to help customers achieve their goals
- Experience working across multiple teams to resolve customer issues quickly and effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate with all levels of an organization
- Self-motivated, resourceful and adaptable
- Team player, reliable and dependable
- Has empathy for clients and takes customer success personally, can act as the voice of the customer internally, which can mean wrangling decision makers and speaking up for the customer. Has handled difficult client situations
- Coachable - takes and implements feedback quickly, and is self-aware about where his/her strengths and weaknesses are; continuously learning
