Business Development Associate
At SeatGeek, we’re putting fans and rights-holders first by reinventing live events for the modern, mobile era. We believe in an iterative, product focused approach that is completely differentiated from legacy ticketing providers and have some amazing partners that are part of our movement.
The Business Development Associate will have a front row seat to our Go-to-market strategy and sales execution. She/he will also play an active role in how SeatGeek builds scale and process into our organization and client engagements.
This will require collaboration across a number of client impacting organizations at SeatGeek, including Sales, Account Management, and Client Experience. As a result, this person will have a unique opportunity to learn from some of the very best in the industry as we work to become a world-class organization.
What you'll do
- Collaborate closely with sales executives and their teams to create and deliver presentations, data analysis and insights
- Support preparation for meetings with prospects and assist in follow up activities
- Help grow and track our sales funnel using financial models and reporting
- Learn as much as possible about the ticketing industry and the SeatGeek opportunity
Who you are
- 1-2 years of professional experience in an analytically-focused role (e.g. consulting, banking, technology) or substantial internship experience paired with an economic or finance degree
- Comfortable with client-facing work and engagement
- Understanding of the sports and entertainment industry
- Curious and detail-oriented
- Consummate team player
- Infectious energy and passion
- Multi-tasker - comfortable working on numerous projects at once, in a very dynamic environment
- Project management experience in a professional setting
- Experience working with Google Sheets (or Excel) and Google Slides (or PowerPoint)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
