IEX Cloud Business Development – Partnerships Associate
IEX Cloud is seeking someone who can play an integral role on our dynamic team and be responsible for sourcing a range of partnership opportunities at IEX Cloud. The ideal candidate is high-energy, can be a strong representative for IEX Cloud externally, rolls up their sleeves and can effectively work with prospective data partners from the initial pitch through securing partnership agreements. This person would also manage these relationships on an on-going basis.
In addition to the core responsibilities, there’s an opportunity for this person to play a role in other strategic partnership initiatives. This position requires working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal and Finance teams.

What you’ll do:
- Source data providers that will deliver new datasets through IEX Cloud
- Research high-quality partners across both the financial and alternative data ecosystems
- Manage the full deal lifecycle from pitch to close
- Communicate the IEX Cloud vision and value proposition to data partners
- Work with Product to identify optimal datasets for our user base
- Work with other IEX Cloud teams to ensure smooth integration and launch processes
- Work closely with the team to identify other high-impact strategic partnerships
Your background:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a business development, sales or a partnerships role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience in a client-facing role and maintains a strong sales presence
- Fluency in PowerPoint
- Experience with SaaS, APIs, data companies and/or financial data is a plus
- Existing relationships with data providers are a plus
- CRM management experience is a plus
