Business Development Intern at Summer
- Strategic Planning: Provide research and analytical thinking to help Summer identify new verticals for their B2B sales efforts. Identify potential groupings of partners and help build business cases to determine potential user and revenue growth opportunities.
- Sales Outreach: Develop outreach strategies and messaging to target new verticals. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create messaging for sales outreach. Schedule meetings with key stakeholders at potential partners and build sales pipeline.
- Business Reporting: Collaborate cross-team to support research and analysis that measures the individual success of each partnership. Identify new ways to report growth for a range of partners and for individual borrowers. Must love making sense of data!
- Product Marketing: Develop and implement product marketing strategies to support B2B2C sales outreach.
We are seeking teammates who are currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an MBA program. Experience working in a B2B business, finance, or financial tech is a plus. This position will report to the Head of Business Development and will work cross-functionally across the organization.
