What's Clyde - Clyde is an end-to-end product protection platform that is re-thinking the way retailers increase loyalty and drive revenue, and the way customers manage their purchases. We are tackling the $50B per year extended warranty market and becoming the de facto solution in the space by leveraging an intense focus on product, design, and customer experience. Clyde delivers product protection plans directly to consumers as they shop, owning the relationship from purchase to claim submission to resolution. We know that the relationship between retailers and their customers is far from over after checkout, so we’re building products to deliver value at every stage of this relationship.

As the BDR Leader, you will play a critical role in Clyde’s ability to achieve our ambitious growth goals. You will partner with our Head of Revenue Operations and Head of Marketing to drive demand generation. This role will have extremely high visibility with the executive team. The success of the company largely depends on your ability to effectively develop and lead the BDR team to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual performance goals. We will look to you to build the farm system at our Organization, starting with recruiting and building the team, to managing consistent success and promotion.

At Clyde, we have a strong, prescriptive sales process and methodology. It is critical that you learn, practice, and champion this process.

An opportunity to...

  • Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and coach talented BDRs
  • Own and scale the team’s hiring, training, and development processes
  • Provide ongoing support and training on tools, cold-calling, sales methodology, prospecting and other topics relevant to the BDR role
  • Facilitate daily scrum meetings
  • Coach and develop BDRs to meet and exceed individual goals
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to assess lead quality, actively track and manage the handling of leads to ensure compliance with SLAs, ensuring alignment on strategy and execution
  • Work closely with the Sales Operations team to identify operational needs, challenges or issues relating to tools, processes and other initiatives
  • Execute on reporting, tracking, and management of the team’s activities and results in Salesforce
  • Work closely with sales team as the main point of contact for addressing opportunities to improve BDR performance
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team spirit and work environment
  • Assist with the development and implementation of performance improvement plans

Requirements

  • 2+ years in business development
  • 1+ years of experience supervising or managing ADR/SDR/BDR teams
  • Leadership skills
  • Formal Sales Training (Sandler preferred, MEDDICC, Challenger experience)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to coach and motivate others
  • Time management and organization skills
  • Motivated self-starter who thrives a in fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic and drive to hit daily and monthly metrics
  • Dedicated and collaborative team player
  • Growth mindset and always seeking to learn
  • High energy and enthusiasm
  • Must be based in NYC or Boston
