Alma is seeking a mission-driven, tenacious Business Development Representative who is passionate about supporting providers and making mental healthcare more accessible.  The Associate Business Development Representative will play a critical strategic role in taking Alma’s provider growth strategy to the next level. You will be responsible for sourcing providers to join Alma’s community network, setting prospect meetings for our Account Executive team, and collaborating with our BDR Manager to maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified provider leads. 

Business Development Representative AssociateWhat you'll do:
  • Manage outbound call campaigns of around 70-100 calls a day using software tools such as Salesforce and SalesLoft
  • Manage and test alternative forms of cold outreach such as website form submission
  • Become an Alma expert; you’ll learn Alma and our solutions inside and out, understand the pain-points of prospective clients, and articulate to prospective clients how Alma can support them in sustainably building their practice 
  • Build new client relationships and set meetings for Account Executives by building, analyzing, and managing a sales pipeline of phone number heavy leads
  • Hit and exceed quarterly goals, consistently staying on top of associated KPIs 
  • Help to deliver an above-and-beyond sales experience to a variety of buyer personas
Who you are: 
  • You possess a strong desire to be in a sales role, particularly a BDR role
  • You have experience with cold outreach -- experience cold calling is a huge plus!
  • You have excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • You are extremely well-organized
  • You have experience using modern sales tools (CRM, email outreach tools)
  • You are excited, motivated, and inspired by hitting and exceeding sales targets
  • You are adaptable and have the ability to “go with the flow”
  • You are a “self-starter”
  • You are creative, innovative, and continuously seeking to be better both personally and professionally
  • You are resilient, possess grit, and are full of tenacity
  • You are passionate about Alma’s mission and the future of mental health care
