Your Team:

Our Business Development (BD) team builds meaningful long-term relationships with brokerages, real estate agents, lenders, and home builders. We’re focused on helping our customers empower their home buyers and sellers with Ribbon’s products to help families achieve homeownership and gain an advantage in the current real estate environment.

As a Business Development Representative, you'll help Ribbon continue to grow in our various markets by fostering connections - some you already have, and many new ones you’ll forge. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career on the ground floor of an industry-defining company. You’ll work with tenacious teammates who thrive as a unit as they hit their monthly and quarterly goals. Our Business Development Representatives shape and drive our business and are crucial to Ribbon’s continued growth and success.

How you'll help make homeownership achievable, within your assigned territory:

  • Offer white-glove level of service to all Ribbon customers
  • Build industry relationships with brokerages, agents, builders, and lenders, often securing appointments and presentations to encourage registration
  • Effectively present and deliver Ribbon solutions to brokerages and lenders
  • Coordinate with the Customer Experience team to deliver ongoing relationship-management and conversion after registration
  • Develop and execute a sales plan for qualified brokerages, builders, and lenders
  • Embed yourself in your territory by attending real estate industry functions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Expansion, Communication and Marketing teams to develop regional marketing content and a social media presence that drives brand awareness in support of sales strategy

What we’re looking for:

  • Real Estate expertise in your assigned territory (TN), with a significant number of connections at local and regional real estate companies (especially builders, brokerages, and lenders)
  • A customer first mindset with the desire and commitment to provide white-glove service
  • Proven skills in sales & account management
  • Consistent success selling specifically to real estate agents and brokerages
  • Robust presentation and speaking skills, both in-person and virtually, to large groups
  • Bias to action while maintaining a consultative, needs-based approach to selling
  • Adaptability to change, strategy, and market conditions in a fast-paced environment

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in a growth-stage tech or startup environment
  • High-volume inside or outside sales experience
  • Success with regional or national sales territories
