We are looking for a Business Development Sales Manager to join our growing Sales team. You will be a key part of our leadership team responsible for managing 4 Sales Development Representatives (SDR’s) charged with increasing sales by proactively seeking new business opportunities in the market.

The role responsibilities include:

  • Makes data-driven decisions to increase leads, pipeline, and revenue. 
  • Leads by example, creates best practices for qualifying leads from marketing opportunities, finds strategic targeted clients, and builds long term trusting relationships with your team.
  • Creates measurable action plans, establishes clear goals, supports short term and long term career development of each team member
  • Holds team accountable for progress and results
  • Helps build and manage a high-performing, service-oriented sales team at Kaia by recruiting, orienting, and training new team members
  • Supports Sales Development Representatives to manage their prospect pipeline, track opportunities, and strategize with the Sales team 
  • Manages cross functional relationships between Sales, Marketing and Business Operations to optimize outcomes
  • Achieve or exceeds monthly sales goals
  • Leverage marketing automation, CRM and digital marketing tools to create, send and measure emails, calls and other outreach to improve conversion rates and client success
  • Proactively seeks new business opportunities in the market
  • Stays up-to-date with new digital therapeutics and chronic disease products

What you need for this position:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; MBA or related graduate degree a plus
  • Has experience managing a team of 2+ people.
  • General CRM knowledge, experience using Hubspot, Sales Navigator, and Apollo a huge+
  • Proven success in outbound sales efforts in prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to clients and increase pipeline and revenue
  • Experience in employee benefits at a medical/ancillary/point solution for 2+ years
  • Have provable network with health care consultants a huge +
  • Experience and passion for working on a cross-functional team
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence to interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • Motivated self-starter comfortable in a start-up environment with fast growth and change of pace
  • Interested in the healthcare industry
  • Excellent presentation, phone, writing, and listening skills
