Business Development Strategist (Relocation Friendly)

Your role in a nutshell: The Business Development Strategist will be responsible for working directly with our VP of Business Development and our Director of Conversion Rate Optimization to create proposals that will encourage our partners to expand their deals. 

This position includes:

  • As the new Business Development Strategist you will be responsible for identifying trends and researching internal opportunities to grow partnerships
  • Conducting keyword research to create new content for our existing partnerships
  • Creating internal proposals that outline opportunities for improving CTR and conversion rates for growing partners
    • These proposals will often include new initiatives and the projected impact those will have on our relationship with the partners we feature on our site
  • Coordinating the information of various internal stakeholders (our editorial team, our marketing team, and more) to get the relevant information needed to make our case

Your Background:

As the new Business Development Research Associate you should have, 

  • 1-3 years professional experience in related field. While you don't need to have a background in project management, an interest in learning about this is a huge plus
  • Experience in strategic growth or marketing is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree is also a plus but strong related experience will be considered in lieu
  • Strong interest in small businesses and startups in general
  • Someone with a project manager mindset with the ability to see things to the finish line, including prioritizing tasks, logistics, and deliverables with a meticulous level of attention to detail
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets and CRM software, or confident to learn them quickly
  • Someone who is flexible, able to grow and change, and agile in working across an organization and its clients with strong communication skills
