What is BlockWorks Group?

BlockWorks Group is an events and mixed media production company operating in the emerging blockchain & crypto ecosystem.

Our mission is to advance the conversation about blockchain and crypto in a responsible way by connecting investors, founders, and lawyers with each other at networking events and private dinners.

BlockWorks Group has three primary activities:

• Events: BWG hosts high-end, educational networking events for c-suite executives and investors that are operating in or looking to learn more about blockchain.
• Dinners: BWG hosts private, curated dinners that connect promising blockchain / crypto projects with prospective investors.
• Media: BWG produces podcasts and creates content for companies operating in the blockchain space.

Who Are We?

BWG was founded by a venture capitalist and management consultant who decided to hang up their suits and build something from the ground up.  You could describe us as:

• Honest, passionate to the point of obsessed, entrepreneurial, and goal oriented (that means we care about you achieving your personal and career goals as well)
• A group of young, hustlin, scrappy enthusiasts who care deeply about their work
• A young company with an interesting take on the events business – we think it should be data driven and that’s exactly what we’re building
• Doers. Thinking is great, action is better, structured experimentation is the best.  It’s not enough that it works, we’re interested in why it works

A Day in the Life looks like this…

• You will be BWG’s “Chief Relationship Officer” – that means connecting with high net worth individuals, investors, partners, and executives who YOU think would be a good fit for our events
• Outreach – that means cold emails and calls to make the relationships we need for our events.  Don’t worry, we can help with this :)
• Go to events, smile, and exchange business cards. Each relationship you make can potentially generate big $$$ for you down the line
• Improve the experience of our events. Have an eye for design, aesthetics, and event flow? Good...we need you!
• Collect feedback from previous attendees and sponsors – this one’s a big one! We are in the relationship business, so making sure our customers are happy is priority number one
