Meeting your future team:

Collibra is looking for a Deal Desk Analyst reporting to the Deal Desk Lead.  You will be a subject matter expert in the Order Management and Order Operations process, helping to structure and close deals for the benefit of Collibra and our customers. You will be the first point of contact in the Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) process as well as the final approver to “close win” an opportunity.  

Living Collibra’s value of “Being the Customer’s Champion”, you will work closely with internal customers - the Sales Organization and assist them to ultimately close an opportunity that generates revenue for Collibra.

Deal Desk Analysts at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Marketplace expertise
  • Accelerating deal cycles to close and maximize revenue by partnering with our Sales Reps and Regional Sales Leaders in proposal building, pricing, quote generation and opportunity management in the effort to structure profitable and compliant transactions
  • Reviewing proposals/quotes and providing Sales with deal structure and pricing guidance to optimize profitability, meet strategic corporate goals, and accelerate deal closure
  • Providing proactive support, guidance and creative commercial solutions to the Sales team in order to help drive new deals as well as renewals / expansion opportunities, whilst being aware of relevant customer information, provisioning and current invoice
  • Ensuring compliance with company pricing/discount policies and processes
  • Approving CPQ quotes to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Assisting sales on new technologies and processes to drive more efficient deal execution 
  • Provision and deliver customer licenses in accordance with contracts and order forms
  • User acceptance testing for updates to CPQ
  • Close opportunities after contracts are fully executed; ensuring the numbers match the contracts
  • Adding strategic value by highlighting process inefficiencies and areas in need of enablement or definition and working with multiple departments on behalf of the Sales team to ensure the Sales team is being supported to the highest standard possible.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of experience working in the SaaS industry
  • Experience understanding detailed pricing models and strategies
  • An ability to analyze and recommend the best course of action for complex pricing situations, and able to problem solve and find amicable solutions
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and CPQ
  • Order operations or Deal Desk experience
  • Experience working with a Sales Organization in support capacity
  • Experience reviewing, drafting, and editing commercial terms
  • Experience of working well with other cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal/Contracts, Product, Support) and influence as well as build relationships with these teams

  • Demonstrate good judgement in solving problems as well as identifying problems in advance and proposing solutions
  • Able to work to tight deadlines in a fast-growing environment

Measuring Success:

  • Within your first month, you will be able to do first line quote approval, and close straight forward opportunities as well as be able to process quotes through partner marketplaces
  • Within your third month, you will be able to close win all types of opportunities and provision licenses to customers
  • Within your sixth month, you will be able to work with various teams and a trusted advisor to the Sales team.
