About the team:

The Deal Desk function within the Revenue Operations group will provide strategic, cross-functional and comprehensive assistance to sales contracting and financial compliance, process improvements, and building scalable solutions that help our sales team and leadership make informed decisions, with a focus on streamlining global efforts across the business.

About the role:

As the Deal Desk Senior Manager at Foursquare, you will design, build, and oversee the Deal Desk function from the ground up. You’ll be at the forefront of the company’s growth efforts working in close partnership with our Go-to-Market organization in the construction, review, approval and negotiation of business opportunities. In addition to this, you will also act as the liaison between the Go-to-Market organization and all other corporate functions as business opportunities are evaluated, negotiated and closed.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Design and build the Deal Desk function at Foursquare
  • Hire and lead a team of deal desk specialists to support your vision for Deal Desk
  • Provide sales training and enablement of quoting, pricing, and process requirements
  • Earn trusted advisor status to the sales team, collaborating on pricing, product, and commercial terms for non-standard transactions
  • Act as a liaison for sellers between multiple groups (ie: rev ops, finance, product, sales leadership, legal) to help facilitate deal closures
  • Implement existing deal and approval processes that supports a high velocity sales motion
  • Partner closely with senior stakeholders across the business

Qualifications:

  • 6-8 of years experience in a similar role, preferably in contracts, deal desk, finance, or sales operations
  • Familiary with Salesforce.com
  • Ability to break down complex ideas and issues and communicate in simple terms to different levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience and understanding of the SaaS and Consumption business model.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related relevant areas.
