Responsibilities:

  • Develop long-term relationships with your portfolio of assigned clients, connecting with key business executives from C level on down
  • Effectively deliver selected communications to clients regarding Addepar
  • Cultivate an understanding of your clients’ business requirements, industry challenges and goals coupled with a understanding of how they are using their Addepar solutions to maximize adoption, growth, and account retention as well as the trusted advisor role with the client
  • Provide strategic oversight during the client journey including optimization, growth, renewal and ensure a seamless handover of knowledge and responsibilities where appropriate
  • Act as a collaborative partner with the Support teams to ensure client tickets are resolved to the best of Addepar’s abilities (recognize that during the implementation, the Services team will assign an owner of the project to manage the implementation)
  • Work with the account management team to recognize trends in client needs that can be communicated to Product Management, Product Marketing, Support, Services, Finance, etc. building strong working relationships with each to ensure ongoing client success.
  • Build and maintain a high level of client satisfaction and reference-ability by successfully diagnosing business operations of clients and prescribing appropriate solutions and Services
  • Own all solutions and services sales activities for assigned accounts
  • Attain and exceed annual sales quota and retention targets
  • Forecast accurately
  • Use Salesforce effectively to manage the sales process, lead generation to close, and maintain relevant data
  • On renewals:
    • Manage overall process
    • Repaper existing clients:
      • Move all existing clients to new legal language
      • Auto renew language
      • Lengthen contract terms where appropriate
    • Repaper high growth RIA’s which are going through transitions, mergers, or large increases in AUM  
    • “Step-up” Billable Asset threshold for RIA clients as they approach 
    • For Direct/SFO’s: “Step-up” SFO clients to their corresponding SFO Pricing Matrix minimums; ensure that existing clients are on the right contract

Requirements: 

  • 3+ years of account management/sales experience
  • Proven track record of successfully executing sales strategies, meeting and exceeding goals in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience building and maximizing senior level relationships with key influencers and decision makers
  • Experience developing and selling complex business solutions at the C-Suite level
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills to C-level executives
  • Ability to influence internal and external decision makers and drive results
  • Strong executive presence and ability to successfully navigate all levels of partners organizations
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Proven track record in building enduring and successful client relationships
  • Experience working in Financial Services preferred
