Riskified’s Growth team plays a key role in defining and executing the company’s expansion strategy. We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly intelligent and motivated individual to lead a team of motivated Business Development Representatives, guiding and enabling the creation of sales opportunities.
You will work with various teams across the company in defining and executing our expansion strategy.
Essentially, you’ll be joining a global growth team of a Series E FinTech startup in hyper-growth and will be using your skills, expertise and energy to make a huge impact.What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and develop a team of driven business development professionals
- Maximize team efficiency to generate quality sales opportunities through proactive, strategic prospecting as well as researching industries and individual companies
- Work directly with our VP of Sales, VP of Business Development and leadership teams to define Business Development strategies
- Represent Riskified at industry events and meetings with potential clients
- Develop a deep understanding of the payments industry and build relationships with key players in the space
- Experience as a people manager - building and managing growth teams
- 2+ years of experience managing Business Development or Sales teams with complex sales cycles
- Ability to quickly understand Riskified’s suite of products and their place within the payments and eCommerce technology space
- Naturally analytical with a deep intellectual curiosity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment. This requires balancing close collaboration with colleagues and being self-directed and tenacious, while taking on a lot of different responsibilities
