Director, Channel Sales

This Director of Channel Sales will lead a team responsible for both growing our existing financial advisor technology reseller relationships, as well as recruiting and closing new partners. The Director of Channel Sales will work across the Quovo organization to build a branded channel partner program that will maximize relationship value for Quovo and our resellers. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated exceptional performance in channel sales, direct sales, partner management, and team management & leadership, and is comfortable acting as a player/coach and directly cultivating and managing key relationships.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Hire and lead a team that acts as the primary point of contact for reseller partners, providing sales and marketing support, as well as acting as the point of escalation for issues/opportunities
- Develop a channel strategy and account plans for existing and new reseller partners to drive revenue growth through the channel; set an ongoing cadence for strategic interactions with all partners
- Establish and manage a channel sales pipeline and quarterly indirect revenue goal
- Establish a Quovo-branded partner program that demonstrates the mutual value associated with being a Quovo partner. The program will include shared revenue growth targets, co-marketing, and strategic product initiatives
- Identify, target and close new reseller relationships based on product/target customer alignment and revenue potential
- Work with marketing to drive partner demand-generation initiatives for Quovo products in the channel; develop a field advocacy team to drive Quovo adoption with existing partners
- Act as an internal advocate for channel partners with sales, product, and engineering teams
- Represent Quovo at partner and industry events
Requirements:
- 8+ years of relevant work experience in SaaS channel/partner management
- Experience building and managing a small, cross-functional team
- Ability to negotiate complex SaaS agreements
- Desire and capability to understand new technologies and complex concepts quickly, both for Quovo and partner solutions
- Willingness to work as a player/coach
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly effectively at all levels
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
- Experience with wealth management/financial advisor solutions a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree
