What's Clyde - Clyde is an end-to-end product protection platform that is re-thinking the way retailers increase loyalty and drive revenue, and the way customers manage their purchases. We are tackling the $50B per year extended warranty market and becoming the de facto solution in the space by leveraging an intense focus on product, design, and customer experience. Clyde delivers product protection plans directly to consumers as they shop, owning the relationship from purchase to claim submission to resolution. We know that the relationship between retailers and their customers is far from over after checkout, so we’re building products to deliver value at every stage of this relationship.

As a Director of Merchant Success at Clyde, you will drive Clyde’s future growth engine by building relationships with our most critical merchants and turning them into delighted and enriched Clyde partners. In this position, you will oversee a portfolio of enterprise merchants, develop relationships, identify their unique needs and challenges, and drive the adoption of the Clyde solution. You will also be a senior leader, responsible for the day-to-day career management of additional success managers.

An opportunity to...

  • Drive merchant satisfaction, success, and retention of our growing mid-market and enterprise portfolio; measured by NPS and revenue generation
  • Attract, hire, and develop employees to ensure Merchant Success is a top-performing function; Drive change to ensure the team is structured effectively
  • Prioritize and funnel merchant feedback to the leadership team to optimize product offering and ensure attention on the right opportunities that will move our portfolio forward
  • Partner with the engineering, product, enablement, sales, and technical support teams to ensure positive merchant outcomes
  • Work closely with enterprise sellers to identify and assist in expansion opportunities

    Requirements

    What we look for...

    • 7+ years experience successfully managing large enterprise client relationships at a B2B SaaS company, bonus points if within a warranty business
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and empathy
    • Self-motivated, proactive team player
    • Proven track record of highly-professional service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment focused on transactional business models
    • Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment while juggling multiple responsibilities
