ABOUT THE ROLE

VTS is looking for an accomplished Learning and Development professional to join our sales team as the Director, Sales Learning and Development. Our sales team is passionate about learning and we want to tap into all of the world-class expertise that exists within VTS. We need the right person to develop the curriculum and ensure it gets delivered in a way that enables us to win and advance our sales careers.

What You'll Do

  • Gain an understanding of the business challenges commercial real estate professionals face and help the leaders in the organization teach the sales team how VTS solves them.
  • Become an expert on the VTS product suite and value proposition
  • Create the career path for the revenue organization
  • Develop the courses and curriculum that ensure each team member advances their career
  • Maintain and administer all certifications
  • Program manage each course and help each professor be effective
  • Ensure a continuous feedback loop for each course and professor
  • Implement the sales methodology for the organization
  • Own the selection and administration of technology used for learning and coaching within the revenue organization
  • Stay up to date on current Learning and Development trends

About You

  • Ability to build great relationships, quickly gain credibility and demonstrate presence and enthusiasm with executives, managers, and front-line employees
  • Ability to collaborate with and coach subject matter experts to create and deliver engaging training content 
  • Ability to strategically plan and program manage learning initiatives, and communicate / market initiatives to all stakeholders (from executives to front-line employees) 
  • 5+ years applying proven instructional design methods (content creation)
  • 5+ years facilitating/delivering content (classroom experience)
  • Ability to measure effectiveness of learning initiatives, including through creation of certification/assessment programs 
  • Experience serving both inside and field sales learning organizations (familiarity with both operating models/environments, common challenges/learning needs, creation of content and delivery to both)
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Bachelor’s degree
