We’re hiring a Director of Sales Operations to be responsible for the overall efficiency of the BentoBox sales team. This person will own the essential support functions that are critical to effective sales force productivity. These include sales process optimization, quota setting and management, reporting, sales job and compensation design, and sales hiring and training.
Reporting to the COO, the Director of Sales Operations will work closely with the Head of People Operations, Head of Sales, Sales Managers, and existing Sales Operations team.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes within the sales organization
- Proactively and continuously identify opportunities for sales process improvement; work closely with sales management on implementation of solutions that maximize efficiency and conversion rates of each sales channel
- Monitor the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization; recommend revisions to existing reports, or assist in the development of new reporting tools as needed
- Coordinate and develop training programs for new sales team hires; manage and benchmark ramp progressions
- Source, implement, and manage technologies used by the sales team; consistently evaluate the effectiveness of technologies used by the team
- Work closely with the Finance Team to provide accurate analysis and sales forecasting used for company financial planning
- Partner with People Operations to build the sales operations team to meet the objectives outlined above
Skills and Attributes
- 5+ years experience in a sales ops role with proven ability to improve sales productivity
- Startup, in particular SaaS, experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce CRM and other BI tools
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Google Spreadsheets and Salesforce data and reporting
- Able to understand key SaaS metrics and how those numbers drive company success
- Excellent management skills: proven ability to build, train, and lead a sales ops team
- Demonstrated ability to plan and refine complex sales processes
- Extremely comfortable analyzing complex data sets and presenting information in an easy-to-understand format
