Abacus is growing rapidly and looking for a Sales Manager to lead the charge as we focus on growing our new business revenue. We are looking for our next up and coming leader to develop and expand our sales team.

We value hard work and a positive attitude and are looking for an accomplished sales leader who can think creatively, make an immediate impact and help us level up, improving our already strong win rates!

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, and manage a growing team of experienced Account Executives with a culture that’s positive, motivating, and performance-driven
  • Train and assist sales reps in closing moderately complex mid-market deals
  • Manage daily and weekly activities, pipelines, forecasts and closed deals to ensure consistent above-quota results
  • Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue numbers based on expertise in qualification and sales process review
  • Participate in the sales process as needed - a true player-coach
  • Articulate and evangelize the vision and positioning of the company, our products, and services, resulting in accelerated revenue growth while maintaining a customer-centric mindset
  • Coach sales team to uncover customer needs, develop champions, present specific use cases, and demonstrate the differentiated value of Abacus

Success Criteria

  • Create a scalable sales process to quickly grow the team
  • Increase revenue from new business deals

Requirements

  • Experience in a B2B SaaS environment
  • 5+ years direct sales experience
  • Excellent negotiator with experience navigating legal, security and purchasing processes
  • Outstanding track record of consistently meeting/exceeding sales quotas personally and as a Sales leader
  • Proven aptitude to build high-performing teams
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills
  • Excellent communicator; strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills; effective at delivering executive level presentations
  • Experience selling into finance teams a plus
