What this role is about: 

RapidSOS is looking for a Director of Strategic Partnerships who is a detail-oriented and resourceful team player to expand the company’s strategic partnerships program. You’ll use your entrepreneurial, project management, and business development background to further develop and scale our most important and strategic partnerships.

What you’ll do: 

  • Develop strategic partner plans with the goal of continually enhancing the combined value of the partnership

  • Project manage implementations of incremental opportunities with strategic partners by coordinating with both external and internal counterparts, including the product management, engineering, marketing and sales team to meet launch and feature milestones

  • Develop senior level (C-suite, VP, Director) relationships across our most important partners

  • Manage day-to-day requests from existing partners, as well as regular check-ins to ensure our joint outcomes are achieved

  • Translate product asks and business needs into agreement and knowledge of non-standard agreements.

  • Translate corporate strategy into actionable, measurable objectives for each strategic partner as well as new potential partners

  • Travel approximately 25% to meet with partners and development of relationships with primary strategic partner contacts

What we’re looking for in our ideal candidate: 

  • 6 years of relevant experience in Sales Account Management, Project or Program Management, or Relationship Management of major accounts

  • Excellent professional relationship-building, leadership, planning, management, communication, and presentation skills

  • Experience initiating and developing new business opportunities and working with external partners

  • Experience translating Product and Engineering asks into Business terms

  • Team player with high emotional quotient
