We bring a customized approach, caring and empathetic tutors, and leading industry insights into all of our 1:1 partnerships with students. Noodle Pros is seeking an Education Specialist to join our team. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a startup environment, and enjoys building relationships with clients.

The goal of the Education Specialist is to provide the best service to prospective test preparation clients, and be their first introduction to Noodle Pros. The ES will work with clients to bring the sales process to a satisfactory conclusion for all involved.

Job Description:

The Education Specialist will arrange conversations with prospective clients, and have honest and thoughtful conversations about their needs. They will diagnose where a student needs assistance, provide advice and a recommendation for a tutoring solution, and then match them to a tutor who is a great fit for their needs. In most cases, the ES will recommend a set of pre-paid tutoring hours based on the student’s needs. The primary goal is to exceed client expectations with thoughtful advice and well-conceived recommendations.

We anticipate 15-20 hours of work per week on the phone and by email. ES performance is assessed on - Same day attempt rate of 50% or more Management of the leads pipeline Total daily talk hours of 2 or more Reaching & maintaining subject matter expertise conversion of inquiries Quality of client conversations and advice given.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree
• An articulate phone presence
• Excellent attention to detail and follow through
• The ability to self-manage
• Experience in sales and/or customer service
• Quick learner and is expected to become fully productive with minimal training and ramp up time.

Education Specialists should be able to demonstrate the following:

• A knowledge of major standardized tests through kindergarten, high school, college, and graduate school
• Great conversationalist, can build rapport quickly with a stranger
• A deep understanding of Noodle Pros mission and brand
• Can ask questions with intent to find commonality
• Can actively listen and diagnose pain points Conversation is genuine, making it appear more like an advisor as opposed to a sales person.
• Can lead the conversation
• Deals with objections calmly and can persuade customer towards a buying decision Is able to handle objections effectively by building on thoughts or connections from earlier in the conversation.
• Cares deeply about the problem that we aim to solve.
• Is passionate and naturally excited about assisting students
