Amplify is seeking part-time Educational Consultants across Southern California to support elementary literacy efforts. Are you a quick learning self-starter who is comfortable with technology? Do you want to make a difference by sharing highly effective programs with other educators? Do you have a love of reading? The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting schools and the ability to drive educators (at all levels) to make the right decision regarding learning outcome choices for students and teachers. We are committed to providing crucial training prior to deployment.
***This is a part-time position with seasonal hours fluctuating from 10 to 20 hours per week. The heaviest commitment is expected from February through May.
Amplify requires all staff to provide proof of vaccination for in-person meetings unless an approved exemption is provided.
Responsibilities (Under the direction of the Strategic Account Specialist and President, Strategic Accounts):

  • Build awareness of the Amplify brand and products through phone calls, email, and other prospecting outreach activities
  • Conduct sales meetings with school site personnel to support campaigns when deemed safe by state health authorities
  • Visit schools when deemed safe by state health authorities
  • Develop relationships with principals, coaches and teachers
  • Provide teacher and administrator feedback
  • Understand Amplify's literacy products and the impact they can deliver to students
  • Display solid education knowledge, especially in the area of curriculum and assessment adoptions


Basic Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 5+ years in a K-12 education
  • 1+ years in educational leadership or coaching role
  • Able to lift and carry sample boxes/bags that may weigh up to 30 lbs.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Public Speaking -experience speaking to an audience of six plus people
  • Conversational intelligence -ability to ask good questions and listen actively
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Experience creating and delivering short multimedia presentations
