Casper is looking for a NE remote based Field Account Executive to work within our expanding wholesale partnerships. Reporting to Casper’s Director, Field Account Management, this role will execute on Casper brand and product training across coupled with relationship building within designated areas and partner locations through the US. This role will be accountable for four main priorities - Build in-store relationships within each wholesale partner, deliver in-store training (product, sales & brand through regular visits, scheduled meetings and small groups), manage in-store point of sale material and capture feedback; collaborating with a network of internal Casper teams for needed content and support. This position will identify trends and share in the accountability for the sell-through and growth of market share, in addition to continually improving store line relationships.

When you’re not catching zzz’s, this is what you’ll do

Act as a Brand Ambassador of Casper and manage relationships with wholesale partners

  • Participate in new partner roll out efforts
  • Continually improve execution with partners
  • Ensure impact of the program with local in-store partner leadership
  • Template and document all program components for export to future distribution partners and subsidiaries
  • Partner with Casper Wholesale ops, Selling Org to develop overall strategy and clarify RACI

Build and be accountable for brand awareness with in-store leadership

  • Support Casper’s current and future wholesale partners through store visits and off-site meetings while building and maintaining local relationships
  • Ensure the effective roll out of partner training sessions for in-store associates on the Casper Brand, product knowledge, concept of Sleep and brand specific selling.
  • Be accountable to the growth & associated objectives
  • Execute launches and collateral roll out
  • Ensure consistent coordination and operational execution by partner - including brand training selling tools, collateral, visual execution, product maintenance
  • Evaluate stock positions where appropriate
  • Regularly assess and share feedback on status of our relationship and in-store positioning in relation to Casper and competitors

Work with in-store leadership to schedules and align to:

  • Partner methodology conventions for training and in store presentations
  • Growth of product slots / shelf space, competitor opportunities
  • Identify and execute on ancillary category growth in partnership with Account Executives

Collateral Development and execution

  • Represent Casper as the primary contact for in store “fixtures” and collateral
  • Develop, track and maintain distribution of collateral
  • Partner with Account Executive on the planning and execution of in store marketing opportunities
  • Manage inventory of fixtures and collateral including replenishments in collaboration with procurement team

Collaborate with central Casper Teams

  • Report on visual and display needs by partner
  • Work with Procurement on fixture purchases and distribution
  • Assess ongoing training needs and opportunities by account including new content development or updates, facilitation or train-the-trainer support, and report on training execution (digital modules, brand, product and sleep marketing)
  • Report on brand and product messaging and associated assets

Analyze feedback from team and regularly share insights with Wholesale leadership team

  • Inform account sales executives on status of relationships and any challenges to meeting partner needs
  • Assess and report on Casper’s positioning in relation to other brands by account
  • Proactively look for ways to improve sales performance as well as local or regional relationships through field activities
  • Participate in market strategy, activities and meetings as required

Our dream candidate

  • 5+ years experience developing and executing in-store relationships, sales growth, training programs and/or product/brand education
  •  Knowledge of the furniture, bedding and home goods industries a plus, but not mandatory
  •  Knowledge and/or experience in the education industry a plus, but not mandatory
  •  Comfortable speaking in front of small and large groups of people
  •  Possess an adequate level of comfort with technology for remote access to internet, presentation materials, video calls, etc
  •  Experience working in designated market areas or geographies across the United States
  •  The ability to travel, in own vehicle, on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
  •  Ability to be away from home, overnight, on a regular basis
  •  Ability to travel approximately 75%, including weekends
  •  Self-motivated on a daily basis
  •  Accountable to goals and levels of performance
  •  Lives in designated work area
  •  Structured and organized with the ability to react and be adaptable and flexible when challenged
  •  Thrives in a cross-functional, highly collaborative remote environment
