THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Fitness Partnership Manager, East Region to our Partner Success team in New York! 

The Fitness Partnerships, East Region will be responsible for both creating and nurturing our relationships with our key partners (gyms, gym chains, and studios) with the aim of expanding our East Coast fitness network. 

YOUR IMPACT

  • Map gym partner organizations and build relationships with multiple contacts focusing on decision-makers
  • Develop gym partnerships via outbound calls/emails, networking, meetings, and closing sales
  • Research, prospect and sell new studio, gym partners in target areas to help Gympass expand its geographic footprint.
  • Initiate sales activity via phone, text and email, including but not limited to: introduction, follow-ups, product demonstration, and reminders.
  • Demonstrate Gympass software, products, and partner solutions to potential gym partners and assist them in understanding why Gympass is the best solution for their gym/studio.
  • Establish business relationships with prospective customers to generate new business.
  • Consistently achieve outbound prospecting objectives and key performance indicators as defined for the role.
  • Regularly communicate successes and roadblocks to managers to better inform the team’s goals and targets.
  • Achieve and consistently exceed monthly sales goals by maintaining daily KPIs and metrics.
  • Develop creative, fun, and innovative ways to connect and build out your relationships with potential partners and share best practices across the team.
  • Identifies advantages and key differentiators as compared to competitors within our various markets.
  • Manage/support existing partners
  • Perform data analyses to show value of Gympass partnerships to key partners through data
  • Participates in trade shows and conventions as required.
  • Collaborate internally at Gympass with our Client Success and Marketing teams to increase the value of our network of partners for corporate clients/users
  • Most importantly, impact Gympass USA’s business which is growing fast!!

 WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field required
  • 4+ years of experience in sales, partner or account management experience preferably in a fitness/sales environment.
  • Experience selling into gyms in the fitness, health, and or wellness industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to use strategic selling skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to travel regionally up to 30% of the time
  • Proficiency in Powerpoint, Excel, and Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Outstanding phone presence and willingness to make multiple phone, email contacts, and visits per day.
  • Strong time management, organizational and relationship-building skills, creative problem solver, and self-sufficient worker.
  • Comfortable contacting and facilitating business relationships with decision-makers and C-level executives.
  • Comfortable working in a demanding, fast-paced, numbers-driven environment.
  • Must be able to adapt to evolving departments/roles, able to take on new challenges as they become delegated to the position.
