As the first Global Director of Sales Development at Worksome, you will be responsible for building, coaching, and leading a team of A+ sales development representatives in North America and the UK. You will be responsible for building the World’s Best sales development function! You’re a people first leader, with a focus on data driven decision making and execution at all levels. You thrive by owning and controlling a sales playbook and get excited about breaking into new markets!  

You will join our growing team of 85 people, and work closely with our founding team and North American VPs! You’ll be an early, core-member and leader of the New York team and you’re in it for the long-run, part of ups and downs, and prepared to give it all you’ve got!

ABOUT THE JOB
  • Coaching and leading sales development representatives to build a sales pipeline through a mixture of outbound calling, emailing, social, video, and creativity! 

  • Build a culture of performance, accountability, and competitiveness within the SDR team and consistently achieving team objectives

  • Testing and applying different sales strategies to uncover the most efficient way to scale sales

  • Build our go-to-market playbook and sales process and prepare for scale by testing our different approaches and verticals 

  • Responsible for reporting, metrics and forecasting

  • Work cross functionally with the Account Executive, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and CS teams! 

  • Help automating relevant steps in the sales- and onboarding-process to further improve our efficiency and metrics

  • You’ll have lots of freedom and flexibility to shape and reshape your role 

ABOUT YOU
  • Demonstrated ability leading high performing teams (closing and/or sales development) 

  • Proven track record of hiring and leading high performers

  • Proactive self starter, action oriented mindset, and driven by data 

  • 3 - 5+ years sales experience, with knowledge of technology and solid business-to-business sales experience

  • Proven track record of successful internal and external relationship and stakeholder management

  • Understand different stakeholders in a B2B buying process ability to talk business with C-level executives on the customer side

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree or other relevant education

  • A few crooked fun facts, cool hobbies, or passions is a plus :)
