About the Team
Uber Advertising's vision is to offer the most marketplace-centric advertising to connect Uber's platform users (eaters, riders, and earners) with advertisers. Uber Advertising's platform brings together location based and shopping data with closed loop attribution across its mobility and delivery channels for performance and brand campaigns, enabling advertisers to engage with our consumers through the entire marketing funnel - from awareness through purchase to loyalty and advocacy for Uber users.
About the Role
As the Ad Sales Performance Lead, you will supervise SIP performance tracking and enforcement to ensure Uber Advertising campaigns are delivering and sales reps are compensated based on their sales. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining attainment dashboards and seller leaderboards, and ensuring compliance with SFDC tracking. In this role, you will work closely with the Mobility sales teams, ensuring expected campaigns are entered into the pipeline and weighted.
What You'll Do

  • Align our sales goals to our business goals through partnership with our operations and territory leadership
  • Reconcile Ads Business, Finance, Regional P&L, and SIP targets by coordinating with channel GMs and all other collaborators
  • Cascade to Ads Sales pod level targets by quarter and region
  • Build leads lists based on above
  • Own collaborator share-out cadences (meetings, update emails, MBR/QBR input)
  • Design and implement projects to improve our sales efficacy, lead generation accuracy, sales compensation, segmentation, and more
  • Build dashboards to advise our go-to-market groups, including customer success managers, sales leaders, and cross-functional partners
  • Be a strategic thought partner to team members in different parts of the business
  • Ensure critical metrics are met, and recommendations are made to improve performance as needed.
  • Work with Product and Engineering to identify changes to internal Ad systems / tools that reduce the occurrence and impact of bottlenecks affecting tracking and improve the efficiency and quality of ad revenue reporting
  • Providing high-level POVs on industry trends and impact to Uber Advertising campaigns.
  • Participate in cross-functional team decisions and projects to enhance overarching process, workflow, and growth of Uber Advertising.

Basic Qualifications

  • Business administration degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 4+ years' experience in sales strategy, sales operations, finance and/or revenue forecasting at a data-driven company.
  • Demonstrated experience building dashboards using Tableau, PowerBI or similar tool.
  • MS Excel and SQL proficiency
  • Salesforce, or similar CRM program, proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an ad sales organization or a company which has a division focused on advertising or working with the marketing team at a large advertiser from the finance side.
  • Demonstrated finance or ad sales ops experience, as well as overarching experience in budgeting, forecasting, pipeline reporting, strategy, and planning
  • Experience working with sales reps: comfortability reporting numbers and asking hard questions to determine the probability of closure.
  • Understanding of publisher monetization technologies for display, video, and audio - including GAM, header bidding, programmatic operations, affiliate marketing, and Digital Media
  • Experience working with data management platforms (ex. Krux, Cxense, etc) and analytics tools (ex. Google Analytics, ComScore, etc).
  • Experience creating dashboards and aggregating data from multiple sources in Tableau.
  • Ability to generate templates and forms that enable sales reps to perform tasks in an efficient manner.
  • Data driven thinking and excellent quantitative skills.
  • Analytical, data-driven approach with validated experience in data modeling.
  • Experience working with large sets of structured and unstructured data and synthesizing into business insights (e.g., using SQL, Excel, Salesforce)


For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $108,000 per year - $119,500 per year.For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $120,000 per year - $133,000 per year.For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $120,000 per year - $133,000 per year.For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
