This venture seeks to dramatically improve quality of life for patients with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) like Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. We are building a digital platform that not only supports patients but also generates real world data to help IBD stakeholders make meaningful treatment advances.

We are looking for an exceptional leader who will own the growth, digital marketing and sales success of this disruptive startup.

 

As our Head of Growth, you will:

 

DRIVE STRATEGY:

· Create end-to-end sales and marketing strategies, including channels, budget, branding and content

· Develop a multi-channel growth strategy based on product needs, including; SEO/ASO, SEM, DSPs, social paid and community/influencer development, word of mouth, email marketing, push notifications, traditional and programmatic display

· Launch and operationalize a direct sales channel (call center, field staff and agency) as a core part of multi-channel growth strategy

· Communicate marketplace strategy and evolution to employees and Board

· Manage competition and threats in the marketplace, with constant evaluation and in-depth understanding of market, consumer needs and priorities, key business economics and the differentiated value proposition of products

 

DRIVE GROWTH:

· Drive sales growth and user adoption through developing deeper ecosystem partnerships and relationships

· Be agile and iterative in your approach, and relentless in your search for the next unexploited growth opportunity

· Create and implement best-in-class marketing campaigns to grow user base

· Continuously rebalance sales and marketing spend and effort towards the highest-returning initiative to ensure maximum ROMI

· Manage return on direct sales channel investment and drive optimization

· Collaborate with Head of Partnerships to drive user acquisition

 

DRIVE EXCELLENCE:

· Maintain deep understanding of key customer bases, including demographics, needs segmentation, interests, and willingness to pay

· Provide consumer insights from marketing activities and analytics to help shape product direction and roadmap

· Define, execute, analyze, and optimize A/B and multi-variant tests

· Define and validate core KPIs, such as cost per metrics, retention, ROI and LTV to drive the business

· Determine the most accurate and approapriate attribution model to manage return on ad spend and media investment

· Design, vet and build out our marketing tech stack partnerships

· Leverage personal network and knowledge of digital tools to drive competitive advantage

 

DRIVE TEAMS:

· Attract and retain world-class sales and marketing team

· Manage a Growth team to drive markettesting and generate actionable plans

· Manage and motivate a direct sales team (call center, field staff and agency)

· Work with product and design to provide expert perspective on market demand and test for market acceptance

· Cultivate a high-performing, one-team culture on the sales and marketing team

 

As Head of Growth, you will need:

· 5-7 years actively acquiring users for a digital start up or growing and retaining a more mature digital business

· Entrepreneurial spirit to help us shape our growth initiatives and company

· Experience leading high-performing marketing teams of 5 years or more, preferably at a high growth tech company

· A proven track record of success in scaling digital business through cross channel user acquisition and retention initiatives

· Experience in building and optimizing a direct sales channel and managing across call center, field staff and agency in satellite locations

· A passion for growth marketing and driving customer adoption for new digital products

· Expert communication, presentation, and material preparation skills required
