Your role:

Throughout Gooten’s exponential growth over the past 4 years, the go-to-market team has only dabbled in outbound sales. Until 2021, outbound sales efforts were a fledgling program but upon addition of our first two SDRs, we began to see immediate traction in engaging qualified leads to grow our funnel and partner base. Now, we’re looking for the right leader to take our early momentum and build a best-in-class SDR function, covering both inbound and outbound lead development efforts. You will work with our two existing SDRs and rapidly expand the team through the addition of new people, tools, and processes. You should be excited to implement lead development sales processes & methodologies, train & motivate SDRs, and think strategically about the vision for the SDR organization’s growth overall. If you’re motivated by the idea of creating the strategy and plan for the SDR team and then executing against that plan, this role is the right one for you. We’re looking for motivated leaders, ready to help us build out the future of the Growth organization at Gooten and be an integral piece of Gooten’s go-to-market strategy & leadership team going forward.

You should have:

  • Sales leadership experience, specifically related to motivating and coaching SDRs - experience managing remote teams is highly desired!
  • The proven ability to recruit, hire, onboard, train, and manage quota-achieving SDRs
  • Expertise in evaluating, implementing, and optimizing tools for SDR teams to use
  • Desire to work with marketing and sales to optimize pipeline creation and efficient lead handoff, thinking past lead development and helping to ensure future revenue success of opportunities originated in the SDR organization
  • Excellent customer-facing skills and written/verbal communication
  • A highly organized working style and ability to manage your time and your team’s time effectively with minimal intervention from superiors
  • Proven ability to design & grow a scalable SDR function
  • A heavy-metrics driven approach and the ability to independently deliver reporting to leadership on quota attainment, rep productivity, and conversion rates
