About the Team:
Our Sales Operations team helps ensure that we’re able to efficiency and effectively sell TpT School Access, our subscription offering for K-12 schools. The team provides analysis and insight into our sales funnel, recommends improvements to systems & processes, ensures data integrity, and manages our sales tech stack. Your efforts will help teachers get the resources they need - without paying out of pocket.
Role:
Teachers Pay Teachers is seeking an experienced Sales Operations leader to join our team. Working closely with Commercial leadership, this role will drive performance across a variety of initiatives and play a critical role in supporting the Sales and Marketing organizations by providing insight, process structure, and strategic thinking to improve sales effectiveness and efficiency. The ideal candidate is able to operate strategically at a high level and execute tactically as they continue to build out the Sales Operations function.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with commercial leadership on strategic planning and other revenue-driving initiatives including revenue forecasting, designing sales team compensation, team capacity planning, and improving sales productivity.
- Establish an analytical system to oversee performance in our sales funnel, design and manage the processes to support accurate and timely sales forecasting and report to leaders and executives on results, forecasts, and trends with insights and analysis through dashboards, presentations, and data models.
- Lead strategy and planning for Sales and Account Management, including areas like retention and pricing & packaging.
- Identify new opportunities to help make the sales team more productive, define and recommend improvements to our sales process and workflow
- Own the Sales technology stack, including ensuring the effective administration of Salesforce (in partnership with SalesForce admins) and recommending new tools to support clarity and accountability of sales activity and progress.
- Manage and grow the sales operations function and team.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of Sales/Revenue Operations work experience for a SaaS or technology company; 2+ years as a manager
- Experience within a SaaS company, startup environment or similar rapidly-growing enterprise strongly preferred
- Knowledge of sales technology stack and available tools to support the quote-to-cash process; Salesforce certification preferred
- Must possess strong analytical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and exceptional project management skills
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a high workload
- 2-3 years in consulting, investment banking, or similar analytical roles
- Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity
- Experience building and leading a sales operations team
