To be based out of our office in Soho, we are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic inside sales rep to help grow the number of restaurants on the BentoBox platform. This is an incredible opportunity to get in on the ground-floor of a fast-growing food + tech startup serving the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate the benefits of BentoBox to prospective customers via phone, email and live web demos
  • Maintain consistent follow up with leads, nurturing them until the time is right
  • Evaluate prospects to ensure that only qualified candidates are receiving demos of BentoBox
  • Follow BentoBox outreach cadence policies to ensure consistency across the company
  • Generate a pipeline of leads and find their decision-maker via cold phone and email outreach
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of activity through Salesforce (CRM)
  • Perform in accordance with a monthly quota and commission structure
  • Embody a trusted advisor approach to B2B sales
  • Represent BentoBox as the gold standard with exceptional customer service, accuracy and enthusiasm
  • Be an expert in the restaurant industry and stay current on trends and changes, in particular its related to technology and digital marketing
  • Help shape future product development based off of customer conversations
  • Uphold BentoBox’s core mission, vision, and values

Skills

  • High degree of energy -- you love to hustle
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent ability to conduct sales remotely via phone, email, and web demos
  • Ability to stay organized and multitask when faced with numerous projects that require immediate attention
  • Ability to close and win deals in the face of adversity
  • Patience and clarity when speaking to customers who aren't tech savvy
  • Interest in helping restaurant owners better use technology
  • Entrepreneurial mindset that is constantly seeking creative improvements and new areas of growth
  • Interest in being part of a team and working in a collaborative culture
  • Previous hospitality experience valued, but not required
  • Previous inside sales experience valued, but not required
