Who are we looking for?

We are on the hunt for an experienced Internal Sales Specialist to qualify leads and generate sales across our retirement plan platform. Working alongside our external wholesalers and strategic partnerships team, this Sales Associate will focus on building relationships with retirement advisors and key partners across payroll, asset management, and TPA firms. Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with the external 401(k) wholesaler team to general sales for Vestwell.
  • Creating new and managing existing relationships with specialist 401(k) advisors and strategic partners.
  • Articulating Vestwell’s value proposition, as well as generating comparative and competitive bidding analysis.

Requirements

The necessities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • 2+ years of financial industry experience including demonstrated knowledge of the financial intermediary marketplace in the ERISA advisory space.
  • Self-starter who can operate well in a collaborative, fast paced environment while adapting effectively to changing business priorities/strategies.
  • Experience with investment analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft and present ideas in a clear and compelling way.
  • Good knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud preferred.
  • Little, if any, travel requirements.
