The Role

We’re seeking a Jr. AE to support all enterprise commercials which includes renewal contracts and opportunities for up-sell and cross-sell within our client base to close deals in new divisions and business units.  We’ve signed some of the top brands in the world and want to extend the value they’re seeing from Ceros throughout the organization. Primarily, you will work with and support the Account Executive in renewal conversations with key decision makers and stakeholders as well as identifying new groups who can benefit from partnering with Ceros and taking them through the sales cycle. 

Successively, you will work in lockstep with the Account Executive and Customer Success Management team to communicate adoption of the Ceros software to identify growth opportunities as well as save-opportunities to achieve net retention targets for your team.

Jr. AEs are rising leaders and mentors having proven the ability to consistently engage potential customers, schedule meetings. Jr. AEs will have the responsibility of supporting the Account Executives by taking customers through the sales cycle through one-off licensing opportunities, assisting in putting together contracts for renewal and upsell/cross-sell while continuing to book new meetings with potential customers. 

Key Responsibilities

  • This is a unique Sales role that collaborates with the Account and Customer Success team to maximize retention and sales growth opportunities with our paid clients. 
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success Managers on utilization and adoption to achieve net retention goals through growth and/or ‘save’ opportunities.
  • Identify and maintain new opportunity meeting pipeline to convert into up-sell opportunities. 
  • Have full autonomy of opportunities in your name: strategically map accounts, leverage 10K and Annual Report research for effective targeting of new growth opportunities at top tier accounts.
  • Master internal processes and systems (Hubspot, Metabase, Salesloft, Gong, Guru, Lessonly, MagicPartners) 
  • Comfortable calling qualified opportunities that are post first call to gain clarity/set up next steps. Continue sales cycle. 
  • Have an in-depth understanding of Ceros ROI within specific industries and marketing personas. Communicate that effectively to potential clients.
  • Maintains full fluency in Ceros’ products and services and how they are sold to deliver value in the marketplace.
  • Produce accurate and timely forecasts on one-off licensing for closing.
  • Builds credibility through an in-depth understanding of a client’s business, organization, external environment, and industry.

Practical stuff we anticipate you having:

  • Experience prospecting into Enterprise/Global Organizations. 
  • Able to communicate at an executive level. 
  • Have sold marketing or creative software.
  • A strong network in the content creation space is preferable.
  • HubSpot or Salesforce usage is required.
  • Thorough understanding of where to locate crucial data/information from 10K and Annual Reports
  • Effective organization and time management skills.
  • Effective presentation, writing and phone communication skills.
  • Relevant and transferable industry experience, e.g., professional services, financial services, retail, healthcare, and media
  • Exposure to marketing and technology functions and digital as drivers of change within organizations.
  • The confidence and willingness to make cold calls and book meetings.
  • A results-oriented team player.
  • Strong business acumen.

Ceros employees live and work all over the world, but our HQ is in New York and we’ve got offices in London and Prague.
